4-reasons-why-you-should-learn-cpr
CPR is a skill that not too many of us think about because it is something that most of us will never use. However, this is a skill that we all should know because it can be used to save a life one day. You never know when you will find yourself in a situation where knowing CPR can make all the difference. So here are 4 reasons why you should take CPR classes:

  1. Saves Lives
The most important reason why you should learn how to administer CPR is that it can save a life. CPR can be used in many different situations from helping bring someone back from the brink of death to assisting someone going into cardiac arrest. You never know when CPR will be helpful, but it is always important to be prepared.

  2. It Is Easy
CPR is a fairly easy skill to learn. As a matter of fact, everyone is able to learn how to do CPR. According to The American Heart Association, 70% of Americans feel completely helpless when someone is going through a cardiac emergency. This is because they do not know how to administer CPR effectively. Knowing CPR will ensure you not only know what to do in an emergency, but it will provide you with the confidence you need.

  3. Certified
CPR is required for ACLS certifications in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. If you are interested in getting into the healthcare industry, then learning how to administer CPR is a required step. CPR classes are actually quite fun to do as well.

  4. Prevent Brain Damage
When the heart stops working, the brain will begin dying within four minutes. This can lead to permanent and severe brain damage. However, if you are able to administer CPR, you can keep the heart going or help bring the individual back. This can help prevent brain damage from occurring.

Those are just 4 of the many different reasons why it is so important to learn CPR. If you want to find out more about the benefits of CPR or about the PALS certification in Florida, please do not hesitate to get in touch with South Florida Health Care Institute anytime.
