Heartsaver CPR AED
The Heartsaver CPR AED course is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
This course teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
This course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The course covers the Four Steps of Pediatric First Aid and modules in Pediatric First Aid, Child/Infant CPR AED, Adult CPR AED, and Asthma Care Training.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
ECG and Pharmacology
This course is highly recommended prior to taking the ACLS and PALS course. This course is an essential resource for training healthcare professionals who participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who require this specialized knowledge for their job. The ECG & Pharmacology course covers basic electrophysiology, normal ECG measurements, basic arrhythmias, the administration of appropriate drugs within the ACLS algorithms, and more.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
This course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
This course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. The PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.
Pet CPR & First Aid
This course is designed to help pet owners provide temporary and urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinary or emergency clinic. This course also includes injury prevention and disaster preparation. Personal safety precautions to help pet owners identify and minimize risks. A wide array of pet emergencies including bleeding and bite wounds, cardiac arrest, choking, burns, poisoning, trauma, and more.
